Linux is way more reliable than windows, especially if you develop a custom distro for the Z ecosystem, which could make Z much less vulnerable to software update failures and hacking.

Thanks for your suggestion.
While Linux could offer some benefits, we also need to consider our wider customer base and the impact a change like this would have.
Introducing a Linux version would require significant development, testing, security, maintenance and ongoing customer support. Given the level of investment involved and the limited benefit it would provide to most of our customers, it isn’t a viable option for us at this time.
For those reasons, we won’t be progressing with this idea at this time, but we appreciate you taking the time to share it.
