When selling a non discountable OTC item and trying to apply a discount there should be a pop up message (like when selling under cost) for staff with full access so as to warn the staff member rather than just allowing the discount to be applied. Otherwise the discount is allowed with no knowledge that perhaps it should not be.

This feature already exists within Z Register using staff permissions and the stock flag "Stock Line Discountable" in Z Office
There are two key staff permissions:
Apply Manual Discounts - Non-Discountable Lines
Set Sell Price Below Cost
Best to create a staff group for junior staff with limited permissions, separate to your senior staff who have full access.
