Using the Z Software Ideas Portal

The best ideas help us understand the problem you are trying to solve and the impact it is having on your pharmacy or organisation.

Before Submitting an Idea

Before creating a new idea, we recommend searching the portal to see if a similar request already exists.

When creating a new idea, the portal will automatically suggest similar ideas that may already have been submitted.

If an existing idea matches what you are looking for, we encourage you to:

  • Vote for the idea

  • Follow the idea to receive updates

  • Add comments or examples to provide additional context

This helps us consolidate feedback and better understand customer demand.

What Makes a Good Idea?

The most valuable ideas focus on the problem rather than immediately proposing a solution.

When submitting an idea, try to explain:

  • What problem are you trying to solve?

  • What is your current workflow?

  • What challenge or frustration are you experiencing?

  • What impact is this having on your pharmacy, organisation, staff or customers?

  • How often does this occur?

  • What outcome are you hoping to achieve?

While suggestions on how the problem might be solved are welcome, we encourage you not to focus solely on a specific solution.

Understanding the underlying problem allows us to explore the most appropriate solution and identify opportunities that may benefit a broader group of customers.

Important: Please do not include patient information, personal information, prescription details or other confidential information in ideas, comments, screenshots or attachments. Use anonymised examples wherever possible.

Submitting Your Idea

When creating an idea:

  • Use a clear and concise title

  • Provide as much relevant context as possible

  • Include examples where appropriate

  • Focus on the business problem and desired outcome

The more context you provide, the easier it is for the Product team to understand and evaluate your request.

Following Ideas

You can follow any idea that is important to you.

Following an idea allows you to receive updates as it progresses through the review process.

You may receive notifications when:

  • The status changes

  • Admin has added a response

  • A new comment has been added
